Our Story
Founded in 2019, Perth Medical Volunteers was created to provide first aid and medical services by the community, for the community. Our mission was to offer an alternative way for both the public and medical students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
What began as a small team of three first aiders has since grown into a network of over 200+ medical professionals, delivering pre-hospital, event, health, and emergency services across a wide range of events—from local school gatherings to high-risk motorsports and large-scale concerts and festivals.
We are now proud to offer educational placements for students from local universities and tertiary institutions, helping to shape the next generation of quality medical professionals in Western Australia.
As a registered charity, our services are funded through donations and service fees, with all funds reinvested into the charity to enhance training, equipment and service development. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our staff and community and look forward to continued growth in the future.
